Our Daily Bread 7 March 2026 – Walking by Faith, Not by Sight

Faith often calls us to move forward even when we cannot see the whole path. Life brings moments when the future feels uncertain and our plans seem unclear.

In those times, God invites us to trust Him beyond what our eyes can see. Today’s reflection reminds us that faith grows when we rely on God’s guidance instead of our own understanding.

Today Bread 7 March 2026 – Walking by Faith, Not by Sight

2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV)
“For we live by faith, not by sight.”

Today’s Devotion

Walking by faith means trusting God even when the outcome is not visible. Our human nature seeks certainty, yet God often leads us step by step rather than showing the entire journey. Faith grows when we learn to rely on God’s promises rather than the limitations of what we see.

Sometimes life places us in situations where our plans do not unfold the way we expected. During those moments, faith reminds us that God’s wisdom is greater than our understanding. Trusting Him allows us to move forward with confidence, knowing He is guiding every step.

Faith also changes how we respond to challenges and uncertainty. Instead of being controlled by fear, we begin to see difficulties as opportunities to depend more deeply on God. When we walk by faith, we discover peace that comes from knowing our lives are in His hands.

Our Daily Bread 7 March 2026 | ODB MESSAGE

Faith is not about seeing every detail of the future but about trusting the One who holds the future. God calls us to follow Him even when the path is unclear because His plans are always good and purposeful. When we choose faith over fear, our hearts become stronger and our trust in God grows deeper.

Pray:

Lord, help me to trust You even when I cannot see the way ahead.
Strengthen my faith so I can walk confidently in the path You have prepared.
Guide my steps today and remind me that Your plans are always good.

Reflect: Where in your life is God asking you to trust Him beyond what you can see?

Take a moment today to surrender that situation to Him and choose faith over fear.
